How it started
"South Square" is the name of a tiny apartment building tucked just off Music Row in Nashville — the place where this journey began.
Over a decade ago, founder and creative director Allison Sebastian was building her career in agency and in-house roles while taking on strategic branding projects from her 540-square-foot Midtown apartment. With dual degrees in marketing and graphic design, she quickly became known for branding that didn't just look good — it meant something.
But after years of playing it safe and working behind the scenes, she reached a crossroads: keep it comfortable, or go all-in on the work that truly lit her up. It was go time.
Fueled by a passion for design, strategy, and storytelling, Allison launched South Square Creative — a Nashville-based branding studio built to help businesses align their brand with their brilliance and attract the kind of clients who truly value what they do.
Today, South Square Creative partners with ambitious entrepreneurs and growing service-based businesses to craft brands and websites that feel as premium, polished, and intentional as the expertise behind them.
